GRANTMAKERS IN AGING

Older Adults as Resources: Creating New Community Impact led by Brian Hofland - Oct. 2, 2009

The first wave of Baby Boomers is already turning 60. America's rapidly increasing population of older adults represents a vast and under-tapped resource. More than 90 percent of older adults are active, in fairly good health and living in the community. These individuals have a lifetime network of connections as well as years of experience, wisdom and skills to contribute.

Regardless of your funding interests - the arts, education, health, environment, social services, community development or children, youth and families - older adults are increasingly relevant to achieving your mission. Join your peers on October 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to learn how grantmakers can play a critical role by encouraging and supporting innovative strategies to mobilize this untapped resource. More details and registration

Grantmakers in Aging events are open only to funders. Thank you for your understanding.
