At many nonprofit live fundraising events, people arrive with money to spend but leave without getting the chance to give, and thus may not feel included. The focus is often on “big” items or “big” donors. Event demographics studies show that the majority of guests are not able to afford big ticket items. So how can you get these donors engaged, feeling welcome and contributing?
At this program Trisha Brauer, owner and head auctioneer at Taking Bids Fundraising, outlines the financial demographic breakdown of the typical fundraising event audience. You’ll learn fundraising strategies to implement that will engage those donors who are able to make donations under $200.
A program of the Fundraising Fundamentals series.
