Inspired Fundraising Summit 2014: presented by Avila University
Presented by Avila University's Hartsook Institute for Fundraising and Hartsook Companies.
Professor Adrian Sargeant, Ph.D., one of the world's most respected voices and researchers in the nonprofit marketing and fundraising fields, is coming to Kansas City for a fundraising summit and you are invited!
Dr, Sargeant is Visiting Hartsook Professor for the Hartsook Institute at Avila University and Director of the Center for Sustainable Philanthropy at Plymouth University in the UK. In addition to being a prolific author and educator, he is a world class speaker who regularly delivers plenary presentations throughout the world. Dr.Sargeant has been named to the prestigious Nonprofit Times? Top 50 Power and Influence list.
Dr. Sargeant will share his research on philanthropic psychology and using donor identity to grow giving. For years fundraisers have been focusing on communicating impact to donors, getting ever better at telling stories about how donated monies have been utilized. Few charities though, think about how, when they communicate, they impact donors. Dr. Sargeant will discuss how an understanding of donor identity can increase giving by up to 30%, while at the same time making donors feel better about their giving and boosting retention.
Following Professor Sargeant?s keynote will be a panel presentation by some of the midwest's top philanthropists. Panelists include Henry Bloch, William H. Dunn, Sr., and Jeanne Hamilton Olofson.
The day concludes with a networking and cocktail reception.
This event is a must for fundraisers, CEOs, Executive Directors, nonprofit professionals at all levels in their careers, philanthropists and board members.
