Nonprofit Executive Breakfast
Nonprofits continue to brace themselves for funding changes on the state and federal level. How should we be advocating for our causes and making our voices heard in a meaningful way?
John Tyler, General Counsel, Secretary, Chief Ethics Officer at Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, joins us to share his thoughts about nonprofit advocacy in the current political climate. John brings a wide variety of experience to this topic with his work on national and local boards including, the Philanthropy Roundtable, NYU law school's National Center on Philanthropy and the Law, Independent Sector's public policy committee, Columbia law school's charities regulator project, the Diocese of Kansas City- St. Joseph, Genesis School, O'Hara High School, Science Pioneers and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Nonprofit Executive Breakfasts are held three times a year with the goal of bringing together the executive leaders of Kansas City's nonprofits for discussion, idea sharing and networking.
This is the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas, nurture partnerships and build supportive relationships with peers, all with the goal of making you more effective in leading your organization. Your participation is important to us and to your colleagues throughout the Kansas City area.
Please note: Attendance at this breakfast is solely for Nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs.
