Performance Management - and the Perfect Appraisal
Many managers groan when they are told they must complete performance reviews. Often, reviews are seen as one more thing on the “to do” list and placed at a low priority. The problem with this view is that the organization cannot succeed without effective, well-performing employees.
Setting structured goals, expectations, and conducting formal appraisals provide managers with a framework to measure and manage employee performance. In this session, you will:
- Learn the importance of setting performance goals
- Understand the counseling and termination process
- Learn to conduct annual appraisals
