Every nonprofit should be continually measuring operating performance and evaluating progress toward organizational goals. In this age of data visualization, a good financial dashboard is an effective way to illustrate key pieces of data that allow staff and board see at a glance where the organization is on the path it has laid out for itself.
At this session, presenter Tondee Lutterman, Partner, BKD, LLP will provide a basic understanding of the types and characteristics of metrics used to measure and evaluate performance as well as an example of a financial dashboard that can be easily adapted to your organization.
Bring your questions and your own examples of metrics that have been useful. You’ll leave with resource materials and a solid grasp of creating and managing metrics for your own organization.
