Webinar - Transform Philanthropy with Vu Le and Andrea Sanow
Researching and prospecting potential funders can tell you a great deal about funding priorities, mission alignment, proposal requirements, and more. But do you ever wish you could just skip to the "reviews" section and hear what real nonprofits have to say about working with that funder?
GrantAdvisor, a new tool available to nonprofits and funders, seeks to transform philanthropy one seven-minute survey at a time. By allowing nonprofits to submit anonymous reviews of funders, and funders to gather feedback and respond, GrantAdvisor addresses issues of transparency, trust, power dynamics, and equity.
Join Vu Le of the popular blog Nonprofit AF, Executive Director of Rainier Valley Corps, and National Leadership Panelist for GrantAdvisor, and Andrea Sanow, GrantAdvisor Coordinator with Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, as they cover:
- Why and how to use GrantAdvisor to strengthen philanthropy in your community
- Examine the broader context of funder/nonprofit relationships, including power dynamics, trust, and more
About the presenters:
Vu Le writes Nonprofit AF and is the Executive Director of Rainier Valley Corps, a nonprofit in Seattle that promotes social justice by developing leaders of color, strengthening organizations led by communities of color, and fostering collaboration between diverse communities.
Andrea Sanow is the GrantAdvisor Coordinator at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, where she develops, implements, and evaluates brand and communications strategies to increase the visibility and credibility of GrantAdvisor.
