Meet Jeremiah Hall

Jeremiah Hall is an experienced nonprofit leader who believes, in his own words, that "strong organizations are built by supporting people, creating dependable systems, and keeping the mission at the center of every decision."

He describes his leadership style as collaborative, practical and grounded in servant leadership. He enjoys helping teams remove barriers, solve problems and gain the tools they need to do their best work. Those strengths will benefit Nonprofit Connect as the organization continues to evolve and support its members.

Most recently, Jeremiah served in executive leadership at Healing House Inc., a Kansas City nonprofit that supports individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. During his tenure, he held several roles, including chief operating officer, human resources manager and data manager. Throughout his nonprofit career, Jeremiah has remained actively involved with Nonprofit Connect, including earning his Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential last fall through Nonprofit Connect's partnership with the National Leadership Alliance.

Jeremiah's experience spans financial management, human resources, compliance, technology, risk management, facilities and organizational operations. He has led major improvement initiatives, including implementing new human resources and electronic health record systems, developing departmental budgets and internal controls, and transitioning from paper-based processes to more efficient digital systems. Throughout his career, his focus has remained the same: creating structure and stability so employees can spend more time serving people and advancing their organization's mission.
