Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
Nonprofit Connect believes in demanding more from our sector, our workplaces, and our world. As an industry that cares for communities, nonprofits must lead by example and do the necessary work of undoing systemic racism, gender bias, and orientation discrimination. We have compiled this list of resources to help guide you and your team through uncomfortable conversations. We are confident they can lead to intentional reflection and meaningful action. We challenge you and ourselves to be better. Together, we are better.
As we learn alongside you, please send any feedback or additional resource recommendations for nonprofit organizations to info@npconnect.org.

In June 2020, Nonprofit Connect hosted a three-part webinar series, A Discussion About Race. Hundreds of nonprofit professionals tuned in for dialogue, discussion and group participation to strengthen their understanding around issues of diversity, equity and inclusion. The series was facilitated by Stephenie K. Smith, MSW and Dr. Rodney D. Smith, co-founders of Sophic Solutions, a change management and consulting firm. We compiled a list of resources shared within the series.
